Police arrest 4 people for exhuming human heads in Niger State

Four suspected criminals have been arrested by the Police in Niger State for exhuming human heads.

The suspects include 50-year-old Sulaiman Abubakar, 42-year-old Babuga Mamman, Abubakar Abdullahi 31- year-old, and 30-year-old Abdullahi Dogo, all of Sabon Pegi Village of Mashegu Local Government Area of the state.

The suspects, according to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Wasiu Abiodun, exhumed the human heads from Kanti Village’s graveyard of Ibbi in Mashegu Local Government Area of Niger State.

The statement hinted that during interrogation, the suspects said they were contracted to get the human heads for two million Naira.

The suspects further said they were contracted by one Nasiru of Koko in Kebbi and one Muhammad of Sabon Pegi, who are currently at large.

The Command said that the suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded.
