The Taraba State Police Command has arrested a suspected gun runner in Karim Lamido Local Government Area of the state.
Police Public Relations Officer, David Misal, said officers and men of the Command are also on the trail of militia members sighted in military uniform.

A total of 17 suspects apprehended in the last two months for various crimes were paraded by the Police in Taraba State.
They were arrested in different parts of the state for offenses which include kidnapping, assassination, armed robbery, and gun running.
Dayibu Usman confessed to be a gun runner for 10 years. He was also found in possession of locally made models of AK 47 rifles.
The Police spokesperson also said that they are on the hunt for a militia group seen to be wearing military uniform in Ardokola Local Government Area of the state.
The Command also revealed that it has rescued 10 children from traffickers.
The Police also displayed rifles, dane guns, charms, ammunition, and machetes found on the arrested suspects.
