A reporter with Africa Independent Television, AIT, in Delta State, Lawrence Ezenubia, has been beaten and dragged to the “a” Division Police Station in Asaba, Delta State, for covering enforcement of the Coronavirus lockdown in the state.
The police said he was taking videos of them checking motorists who had violated the lockdown order.

His digital padcaster has been confiscated and video contents previewed. He is currently being held and his equipment seized.
