A 26-Year old man planning to murder a member of the disbanded Federal Special Anti- Robbery Squad, FSARS has been arrested by men of the Bayelsa State Police Command.
Police Public Relations Officer, Asinim Buswat says the suspect, Everest Ovie who is a native of Ughelli in Delta State was arrested in a sting operation while attempting to purchase a Berreta pistol in Bayelsa State.
Ovie who was arrested with the sum of N250,000 with which he wanted to procure the gun, said he intended to use the weapon to kill the FSARS officer who had killed his brother in Ughelli.

Buswat said the Police Commissioner, Michael Okolie has ordered further investigation into the case after the confession made by the suspect.
