The State Police Command has paraded a socialite Kidnapper, John Ikechukwu Ewa and three other members of his gang, who have allegedly collected over 200 million Naira in ransom from families of their victims.
Police Commissioner, Ben Okolo while parading them at the Command headquarters in Yenagoa told Journalists that the notorious gang was responsible for more than ten high profile kidnap which spanned over a period of seven years.
For more than two days, the arrest of Yenagoa socialite-Kidnapper, 30 Years John Ikechukwu Ewa and members of his gang trended on social media and various news platforms.

Luck however ran out on the flamboyant Ewa and his gang members, when men of the Operation Restore Hope put a halt to their business after a long period of painstaking investigation.
While, Ewa an ex staff of a new generation bank branch in Yenagoa supplied information of targeted victims, 37 years old Emmanuel Angese, who is the actual ringleader ran the operation, using proceeds of the criminal venture to purchase a brand new Avalon vehicle for his his wife.
Other members of the gang are innocent Kingsley 31Year old and Timi Werikumo, 21.
Commissioner of Police, Ben Okolo used the opportunity to warn Kidnappers and criminals to steer clear of Bayelsa State or be ready for the full weight of the law.
