The Speaker of the House of Representatives Femi Gbajabiamila says President Muhammadu Buhari has agreed to address the house on the mood of the nation.
Speaking with state house correspondents after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the state house, the speaker said he was at the presidential villa to convey the resolution of the house and a date for his appearance.

When asked how the president feels about the security challenges in the country, the speaker said president Buhari is fully committed to the security of lives and property of Nigerians.
The National Assembly recently called on the president to appear before it following the massacre of several rice farmers in Borno state.
It is still not clear if President Buhari will address the joint session of the National Assembly.
