The faction of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Edo State, South-South Nigeria loyal to Governor Godwin Obaseki has inaugurated a 41- member mobilisation committee to help the party mobilise the support of high profile politicians ahead of the 2020 Governorship Election.
The factional State party Chairman, Anselm Ojezua while inaugurating the committee at the State Party Secretariat in Benin City charged the members to embark on serious membership drive and identify with notable persons of substance across the 18 local government areas of the State that are willing to join the APC.
The task before the 41-member committee is to go across the 192 wards in the 18 local government areas of the State to increase the membership drive of the APC by identifying interested politicians willing to join the APC from other political parties.

Ojezua however says the APC will not accept individuals joining the party from the top.
The Chairman of the Committee, Mathew Iduoriyekenwen says the Governor Obaseki administration has done well in the State and promised to mobilise more people to the party ahead of the 2020 governorship election.
