A child rights advocacy group, Kids In Need Society International, has dragged Amnesty International to court in defence of the country’s sovereignty and independence.
The group led by its Country Director, Solomon Semaka, said the organisation chose to take legal action against Amnesty International following its persistent sequence of inciting reports against the entire armed forces of the country.
The child rights and citizens’ advocacy group said false and inciting reports against the country’s security architecture have dire consequences that could endanger the welfare of children and their rights to safety.
