The senator Magnus Abe campaign council says the arrest and remand of Charles Taleelo, a Social Democratic Party, SDP, stalwart, by a Port Harcourt magistrate court for alleged involvement in kidnapping in Khana Local Government Area, has confirmed its fears of the planned arrest of SDP members over trumpped up charges by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP- led government.
Speaking on the arrest and remand of Teleelo, Joseph Dens, said the full details of the offence his client committed was shrouded in secrecy.
Spokesperson of the senator Abe campaign council, Bethel Oko-Jaja and the SDP state house of assembly candidate for Gokana constituency, Vivian Pamene said the PDP- led government in the state had concluded plans to arrest more supporters of SDP, stressing that Teleelo’s arrest was politically motivated.

Charles Taleelo is presently at the Port Harcourt Correctional Center till the 15th of February when he will appear in court.
Meanwhile Spokesman of the Rivers states PDP campaign council, Ogbonna Nwuke, has urged the senator Magnus Abe camp to stop the blame game and face the police if they think the suspect is really innocent of the allegation.
