Football fans around the world are in for a showdown in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League as Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi arguably the two most successful players in the world face off in the group stage of this season’s Champions League.
They have won the FIFA Best Player award 10 times between them and now the draw of this season’s UEFA Champions League pits Ronaldo’s Juventus seeded top in group G against Messi’s Barcelona.
They will compete against Dynamo Kyiv and Ferencvaros in group G.
Defending champions, Bayern Munich, are up against Atletico Madrid, Salzburg and Locomotiv Moscow in group A.
Thirteen-time winner, Real Madrid, will compete against Shakhtar Donestk, two-time champions, Inter Milan, and Borussia Monchengladbach in group B
Group C has FC Porto seeded top against Manchester City, Olympiakos, and Olympique Marseille.
2019 champions Liverpool are Against Ajax, Atalanta, and Midtjylland in group D while Sevilla, Chelsea, Krasnodar, and Rennes battle for the two spots in group E.
