Officers and men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC on Wednesday morning intercepted 70 travellers coming in to Oyo and Lagos States through Ogbomoso.
The State Commissioner for Information, Wasiu Olatunbosun who made this known in a phone interview said the 70 persons were travelling from Jigawa and Kano States.
The Commissioner said he was called around 3.30 am and informed of the movement and he promptly informed the NSCDC Commandant who made the arrests possible.

Olatunbosun said on profiling, 50 of the said travellers were heading to Ibadan, the Oyo State capital and 20 heading to Lagos State.
The Commissioner also says the 70 persons will be returned to their various states in line with the ban on inter-state movement to help control the spread of Covid 19.
