Cross River State governor, Prof Ben Ayade says the 24-hour curfew imposed on the state is still in force in all the eighteen local government areas of the State, hence no one should go out.
Ayade in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Christian Ita, said, everyone, is advised to remain indoors as security agencies will not tolerate any non compliance by any citizens no matter how highly placed.

The Statement said the 24-hour curfew is total and indefinite, that security agencies have been directed to arrest anyone found disobeying the directive. Such person will be tagged enemy of Cross River State.
