Three thousand, five hundred prospective students who recently sat for the Post University Matriculation Examination Post-UME for admission into the university of Benin have been asked to return to the institution to re-write the examination.
The school’s Public Relations Officer, Benedicta Ehanire on Thursday, admitted that there was a technical challenge while the examination was on course.
In a statement made available to journalists, the Public Relations Officer said the candidates who sat for the University’s Post-UME on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, do not have any cause to worry as those whose submissions were affected in two of the centers that had the technical hitch resulting from power cut at the campus, have been advised, via their e-mails, to return for the exercise.

The PRO in the statement further called on the candidates to go to the University’s ICT Centres from Wednesday 9th to Friday, December 11, 2020, from 9am to re-write the examination even as the institution has debunked rumours making the rounds that the University has problems with its servers.
The PRO however assures that the submissions of all candidates who took the examination before December eight and others whose Centres were not affected were intact.
