Iyaye and the Special Adviser to the Rivers State Governor, Chris Green, opined that the project which is a blend of education and sports will provide the platform for budding talents to thrive in a set up that can be likened to what is obtainable in other climes

He assured members of the Rivers State chapter of the Sports Writers Association that in no distant time, Nigeria will start reaping the dividends of the project.

The Real Madrid football academy project is near completion and will soon start admitting students into its programmes.
