The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC has warned petroleum marketers against hoarding and hiking the pump prices,against the official rate, thereby making life difficult for the citizens
Cross River State Commandant of the Corps, Samuel Fadeyi, made this known in Calabar while parading six suspected criminals,who were arrested for various offenses.
Fadeyi explained that the command would ensure a free supply of petroleum products to the right destination from various tank farms to the dispensing filling stations in the metropolis without diversion or hoarding.

The commandant assured that the corps would deal with any filling station found hoarding or causing artificial scarcity in line with the existing laws.
The Commandant warned all petroleum dealers and tank farm owners to desist from making life unbearable for the citizens in Calabar in particular and Cross River State in general.
