The Nigerian Supreme Court will on Monday, October 23, 2023 hear the appeals by Peter Obi of the Labour Party and of the Allied Peoples Movement APM.
Both appeals were dismissed by the Presidential Election Petitions Court which upheld the victory of APC’s Bola Tinubu on September 6, 2023.
Hearing notices have been sent to the counsel for the respective parties.

Obi had filed 51 grounds where he argued that Justice Haruna Tsammani led PEPC erred when it dismissed his petition and struck out the testimonies of its key witnesses.
The apex court is scheduled to hear all the appeals arising from the judgements of the Presidential Election Petitions Court, PEPC, on same date.
