The Adamawa State Government has debunked claims that two cases of suspected Coronavirus were recorded in the state.
The state Commissioner for Health, Abdullahi Isa, while addressing reporters, said the public mistook cases of pneumonia to Coronavirus.

It was alleged that two primary school pupils exhibited symptoms of the virus, leading to panic and confusion in the state capital, but after clinical examination, it indicated that the symptoms of the two cases in question were pneumonia.
Isa assured that the state government and other healthcare stakeholders are working closely to ensure effective surveillance.
