There was tension in Ashaka Community in Ndokwa East Local Council Area of Delta State on Sunday following attack on a police station with explosives believed to be Improvised Explosive Devices, IEDs.
AIT gathered that the gunmen who were repelled by police operatives burned down the station’s operational vehicles.

No life was lost in the attack that was said to have been carried out by hoodlums numbering about twenty and heavily armed.
The command Public Relations Officer DSP, Bright Edafe confirmed the incident in a statement.
Meanwhile the Delta Police Commissioner, Muhammad Ari, has charged Divisional Police Officer in the State to stem the growing insecurity by taking the battle to unrepentant criminals.
He also urged members of the public to volunteer useful information that will assist the police in discharging their duties through intelligence gathering.
