The hotel manager credited with saving hundreds of lives during the 1994 Rwandan Genocide, Paul Rusesabagina has been charged before a court in Kigali for alleged terrorism.
Rusesabanga was paraded by the Rwandan authorities two weeks ago, following a extradition from Dubai, where he has lived for some years after leaving Rwanda in the aftermath of the genocide.

The seventy- one year old is accused of belonging to a group which the Rwandan prosecutor’s Office accuses of being a terrorist organization responsible for killings in part of country.
His heroics during the three-month genocide were documented in a the award-winning movie, Hotel Rwanda which earned Rusesabanga numerous awards.
