About fifteen Unknown gunmen, have attacked a new generation bank, opposite the Ofor Market in Issele-uku, Headquarters of the Aniocha-North Local Government Area of Delta State.
Some of the gunmen who held the bank customers hostage in the bank hall while the robbery lasted, killed three persons, left several others with different degrees of bullet wounds and carted away millions of naira.
Other gunmen who stationed at strategic points within the bank axis and shooting sporadically, also invaded a Police Station about a kilometre away from the bank, forcing the Policemen in the station to flee.

Eyewitnesses said that several calls put across to the new joint security operatives in the State, known as “Operation Delta Hawk” failed to yield timely response.
In the meantime, the area has been cordoned by the Police, while investigation is underway.
