Traditional Rulers canvass new ways to tackle menace

Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, has canvassed for a cross exchange of ideas on new ways to tackle the issue of education and employment among the youths.

The Emir made the call during his first visit to the Palace of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi in ancient city of Ile-Ife, Osun state.

The Emir said his visit was to strengthen the relationship between the Kano Emirates and Ooni’s palace which dates back to the reigns of their predecessors.

He emphasised the need for more synergy among the traditional rulers across ethnic affiliation in curbing youth restiveness and proferring solutions to the myriad of security challenges facing the nation welcoming the emir, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, called for unity of purpose in tackling the nation’s challenges.

They both pledged to continue to give their necessary support to government at various level.
