The National Assembly Elections Petition Tribunal has nullified the election of the member representing Magama/Rijau Constituency at the House of Representatives, Kasim Danjuma.
The three-man tribunal which was headed by Justice B. Zubairu, nullified the bye-election on the grounds of non-qualification of the member to participate in the election.
Counsel to the petitioner, Muhammad Ndayako, proved to the tribunal that the member-submitted forged documents, which included Primary School Certificate and Declaration of Age to the Independent National Electoral Commission, to participate in this year’s March 14th bye Election.
