Troops of the Nigerian Army stationed in Kirchinga in Adamawa State have successfully repelled an attack on the community in Madagali Local Government Area of the state.
Boko Haram terrorists attacked the village on Monday night but were confronted by soldiers after razing down about five houses and looting some shops.

A resident who commended the efforts of the troops in the area for their timely response, confirmed to AIT that the terrorists in large numbers arrived the village in pickup vans and motorcycles, but were successfully repelled.
Commander of the troops in Madagali, Colonel Abdulsalam, also confirmed the incident to AIT in a telephone interview.
