The Trade Union Congress of Nigeria TUC has called on the Government especially the legislative arm to rescind its decision to limit fuel imports to fee operators in the oil and gas industry.

The Labour Centre describe the planned move as monopolistic and a deliberate attempt to frustrate the challenges the Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB) is designed to solve.

The TUC accused the lawmakers of serving the interests of some individuals at the detriment 97% of the country’s population,a move the Congress says it will resist.
