Two cases of yellow fever have been identified in Ningi Local Government Area of Bauchi State, North-East Nigeria, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 29 so far.
The Executive Chairman, Bauchi State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Dr. Rilwanu Muhammad, disclosed this to reporters on Saturday.
He noted that there are 224 suspected cases recorded across some local governments in the state.
Dr. Muhammad said the state ministry of health is doing its best to ensure rapid response to the affected areas.
