Another deadly attack has claimed the life of a village head in Bokkos Local Government Area, North central Nigeria.
Musa Ataka, the village head of Kambang-Malul village of Daffo District, was stabbed to death in an ambush by suspected Fulani herders on his way home from Nghasit, a neighbouring village in the company of one Danjuma Taka, who narrowly escaped.
AIT reports that the Plateau state Police command has confirmed the attack, and its spokesman said Investigation has commenced on the killing of the village head.

The body of the deceased has since been deposited at the mortuary of Luna Hospital, Bokkos Local government area of Plateau state.
