The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the results of the November/December 2020 Senior School Certificate Examination for private candidates.
The Head of WAEC’s national office, Patrick Areghan said this at a briefing in Lagos on Monday In a breakdown of the results, Areghan said 66,375 candidates registered for the examination, representing a 31.63% decline in the number of candidates registered in 2019.

Areghan also said the examination which took place between Monday, November 23 and Tuesday, December 22, 2020 had a total of 3,234 examiners who participated in the coordination and marking exercise, adding that of the 61,509 candidates who sat for the examinations, 30,507 were male while 31,002 were female.
The examination body’s head disclosed that the results of 61,111 candidates, representing 99.35%, have been fully processed and released while the results of the remaining 398 candidates, representing 0.65% , are still being worked on by WAEC following errors committed by the candidates.
