Zamfara State Governor Bello Mohammed, has reassured workers that his administration will do what is in their best interest.
He says the idea is to put smile on their faces and motivate them to work for maximum productivity, which will boost the state Internally Generated Revenue, IGR.
The governor gave the reassurance while receiving a report from the 30,000 Minimum Wage Committee, chaired by Ambassador Bashir Yuguda.

Governor Bello Mohammed said, his administration is committed to the welfare of civil servants, hence it will look into the report and implement the recommendations, in the interest of the workers.
He calls on workers in the state to work hard to block leakages and to improve the Internally Generated Revenue, IGR, to enable the government pay salaries with ease.
The Committee Chairman, Ambassador Bashir Yuguda, applauded the rapid development, which the state government, under the leadership of Governor Bello Mohammed is bringing into the state.
The governor also hinted that the state government is carrying out forensic audit, to ascertain the number of civil servants in the state.
