Zamfara State governor, Bello Mohammed has donated more than two hundred operational vehicles to various security agencies to enable them tackle the challenges bedeviling the state.
At the presentation ceremony in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital, Governor Bello Mohammed said he believed equipping the security agencies is critical in the ongoing war against banditry, kidnapping and cattle rustling in the state.
The Governor said that the only way to effectively wage the current war against insecurities is for the affected states to form a united front against the bandits.
Receiving vehicles, the chief of army staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai represented by the General Officer Commanding 3rd division of the Nigerian Army, Jos, Major General Nuhu Angbazo says the security operatives will leave no stone unturned in tackling the challenges facing the state and the country at large.

In attendance were the deputy governor of Zamfara State, Mahadi Gusau, secretary to the state government, Bello Maru, speaker of the state Assembly, Nasiru Muazu, traditional rulers and all the heads of security agencies in Zamfara State.
