Angry youths in Jangebe in Zamfara State attacked journalists who arrived the community following the kidnap of 317 schoolgirls on Friday.

A Gusau-based Cameraman for an Online Television, Thunderblower, Babangida Khalifa, sustained injury during the incident.

The vehicle of the media outfit was also damaged by the angry youths.

The attack prevented many journalists from getting to the secondary school, where the schoolgirls were abducted by suspected bandits.

Officials of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, helped stranded journalists out of the community.
