The Taraba State Police Public Relations Officer, David Misal, has confirmed that two persons were killed in their farm at a village in Wukari Local Government Area of the state.
The village borders Wukari in Taraba State and Jootar in Benue State.
Locals alleged that the attackers were suspected to have come from Jootar.
The Police said that no arrest has been made and an investigation is still ongoing.

Southern Taraba communities that share borders with Benue State have been at the centre of the Tiv-Jukun crisis which has lingered for over a year now.
