Adamawa, Plateau and Nasarawa state governments are ready for the take-off of the National Livestock Transformation Programme, NLTP of the National Economic Council, NEC in their respective states.
Ebonyi state governor, Dave Umahi made this known to state house correspondents on Tuesday after the meeting of the council’s committee on national food security and farmer-herders clash with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at the presidential villa Abuja.

Umahi who is also the chairman of the committee said the willing states have been asked to submit their programmes and costing for implementation of the programme.
The Ebonyi governor also spoke on rice production in the country which he says has contributed immensely to the Gross Domestic Product, GDP of the country.
