Not less than 10 sitting Governors and National Chairman of ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Abdullahi Ganduje are meeting in Abuja to fine tune plans for the off-cycle November 11, Governorship election in three states of the Federation.
The party’s Governorship candidates in Bayelsa State, Timipre Sylva and Imo State, Hope Uzodimma who is Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum were present at the meeting.

The Kogi State Governorship candidate, Ahmed Ododo is however absent at the meeting but the incumbent Governor, Yahaya Bello is present.
Plans are already underway to settle the rift between former Governor Rochas Okorocha and his successor, Hope Uzodinma as first step for the ruling party to consolidate control of Imo State beyond year 2024.
