The Southwest Zone of the National Association of Nigerian Students is threatening a total shutdown of the country if ASUU and the Federal Government fail to reach an agreement to end the ongoing strike embarked upon by ASUU.
The Southwest Coordinator of the Association, Tegba Stephen, disclosed this in Ibadan, when he led a group of students on a peaceful protest, to say “no” to incessant strikes in the sector, as students have been adversely affected.

The students who carried placards with various inscriptions to drive home their demands from the Federal Government and ASUU headed for the premises of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ibadan Council.
The students want the Federal Government and ASUU to reach an agreement soon, to put an end to the lingering strike.
