The Civil Society for Human Rights and Rehabilitation had last week staged a protest at the AMAC Headquarters in Abuja with a petition alleging infractions by the area council Chairman.
Some of the allegations bordered on abuse of office, disregard for appropriation, and procurement act which the council Chairman debunked.
Also on the petition is an allegation that the area council received 19 billion Naira between 2016 and 2019.
The legislative arm of the area council are currently investigating the allegations against the council Chairman and would make their findings known on a later date.
