The Adamawa State Government has declared Mubi town as the epicenter of Covid-19 in the State, after 8 cases were recorded from the 2 LGAs of Mubi North and Mubi South.
Adamawa State already has a total of 17 Covid-19 cases.
With these figures, the containment committee says, it has commenced plans to set up an isolation centre in for the 2 LGAs.

Mubi, being the commercial nerve center of the State, has one of the largest cattle markets in the country.
To curb the spread of the virus to other parts of the State, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri had ordered the indefinite closure of the market.
He made the declaration after signing an Order giving legal backing to the decision.
