Three Coronavirus patients have been discharged from the Isolation Centre at the Ibom Specialty hospital in Akwa Ibom State.
Secretary to the State Government and Chairman of the state COVID-19 Committee, Emmanuel Ekuwem while addressing the media in Uyo, the state capital said that the 3 persons discharged were from the first 5 cases recorded in the State with the remaining 2 still undergoing treatment.
Ekuwem added that 3 other suspected cases whose test results came out negative after showing initial symptoms were also discharged after being kept in isolation.

Akwa Ibom State now has 3 confirmed cases undergoing treatment including 2 from the first 5 cases, and 1 new case announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC on Tuesday
