The World Health Organisation, WHO, has embarked on a massive campaign and training for journalists in Yola, Adamawa State on how to eradicate the misconceptions surrounding the efficacy of the Oxford Astrazeneca vaccines, assuring Nigerians of the safety.
WHO said journalists being foot soldiers in enlightening the public on Covid-19 are in the best position to eliminate the misconceptions about Astra-Zeneca vaccines.
WHO Public Health Officer, Jerry Pantuvo, said the side effects experienced when vaccinated is as a result of the body recognising the foreign element newly introduced to it just like every other vaccine.
He assured that the vaccine is safe.

The workshop focused extensively on how journalists in the Northeast, a region ravaged by Insurgency can change the mindset of the people against Covid-19 vaccination.
