Gunmen have taken over some communities in Shiroro and Rafi Local Government Areas of Niger State.
A native of one of the villages in Shiroro, told ait.live that the bandits are in Hana Wanka, Kadaga, Durumi, and Malawai in Bassa and Kukoki Wards in Shiroro Local Government Area.
They have also taken over the communities of Madoka, Nasira, Makurdi and Wayan in the Rafi Local Government Area.
Most members of the communities in the two Local Government Areas have since deserted their villages, and are presently putting up with their relations in different communities.

Already some of the members of the communities have moved to the Internally Displaced Persons Camp at Idris Ibrahim Kuta Primary School, in Kuta Headquarters of Shiroro Local Government Area.
