The Police in Bauchi State have denied media reports that Boko Haram fighters have infiltrated four local government areas of the state.
According to a statement released by the Police spokesman, Ahmed Wakil after an emergency security meeting, the erroneous narrative being peddled is not a true account of what transpired at the security council meeting.
The Police said, the meeting was to discuss ways of forestalling the influx of fleeing Gaidam and Kanama residents from Yobe State, after Boko Haram attacks there.
