National Association of Aircrafts Pilots and Engineers have made a U-turn in its decision to proceed on industrial strike in the aviation sector saying it was a misstep on its part.
The president of the union, Abednego Galadima told AIT after meeting with the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, Chief executive officer, Air Peace Airline, Allen Onyema and other key players in the Industry in Abuja.
Galadinma said the Union will work with the resolutions reached with the minister that some of the sacked workers will be recalled and also ensure that relationship between the airline and the Workers Union would be strengthened to avoid future disagreements.

The Air Peace CEO agreed to recall sacked staff that its limited financial capacity can accommodae.
Last week, the Workers Union proposed two weeks industrial strike following the sack of 72 Pilots by Air Peace Airline and 100 Pilots and Engineers by Bristow Airlines.
