The embassy of the Republic of Chad has rejected and denounced what they describe as a misleading video and images quoting the Chadian president as saying his troops occupied some Nigerian territories which should be manned by Nigerian troops.
A statement from the embassy of republic of chad in Nigeria says that the remark was taken out of context and that the republic regrets the misinformation which is aimed at ruining the diplomatic ties between the two leaders and the security forces of both countries.

The statement adds that Nigeria and Chad enjoys good working relationship and cooperation that extends to economic growth of both countries
