Confirmed Covid-19 cases in Nigeria cross 69,000

There are 318 new Covid-19 infections reported from 14 states in last 24 hours. The latest figures take the total number of confirmed cases to 69,255.

The 318 new Covid-19 cases are reported in Lagos-104; Kaduna-59; FCT-50; Rivers-17; Ogun-16; Kano and Nasarawa-14 each; Akwa Ibom and Katsina-10 each; Edo-7; Oyo and Sokoto-5 each; Plateau-4 and Taraba-3.

Meanwhile, 214 Covid-19 patients have been discharged across Nigeria in the last 24 hours with the total number of successfully treated cases rising to 64,774.

There is no new Covid-19 related death reported in Nigeria in the last 24 hours as the national death remains 1,180.
