The weekly meeting of the Federal Executive Council, FEC, is ongoing at the Presidential Villa, Abuja chaired by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The meeting commenced shortly after the swearing-in of Folashade Yemi-Esan as the substantive Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.

Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, the newly sworn-in Head of the Service of the Federation, Folashade Yemi-Esan, the National Security Adviser, Babagana Mungono, and ministers are in attendance.
Senior officials of some ministries, departments and agencies of government are on standby waiting to make presentations at the meeting.
What may top the agenda of the meeting is the outbreak of the dreaded Coronavirus disease in the country.
President Buhari had on March 1, 2020, appealed to Nigerians not to panic over the outbreak of the Coronavirus.
The President gave the assurance that the Federal Government is on top of the situation and everything is being done to contain the virus.
