Chairman Nigerians in Diaspora Commission Abike Dabiri Erewa says plans are underway for the evacuation of over 400 Nigerians stranded in Saudi Arabia.
While disclosing this to ait. live, the NiDCOM boss said they will be evacuated in two batches of 400 and 200 on 28th and 29th of January respectively by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This is coming barely 48 hours after a video emerged on the internet where Nigerians stranded in Saudi Arabia were seen covered in black plastic bags calling for evacuation.
