The Edo State government says facilities to be used for the hosting of the 2020 National Sports Festival in the state will be test run at the end of the month.
The State deputy governor, Phillip Shuaibu who is also the chairman local organising committee of the festival made this known on Tuesday while fielding questions from state house correspondents at the presidential villa Abuja on the level of preparedness.

Shuaibu said the state is excited to showcase to the world its state of the art facilities which are of international standards.

He added that Governor Obaseki led administration in Edo State is committed to revamping the sports sector with the construction of 20 mini stadia across the 18 local government areas of the state.
The National Sport Festival tagged Edo 2020 will commence on March 22, 2020.
