Ekiti State Governor and Chairman of Nigerian Governors Forum, Kayode Fayemi, has tested positive for Covid-19.
He has already gone into self isolation at home and is “receiving the best of care” from his medical team.
The Governor who disclosed this on his personal Twitter handle says this is his third Covid-19 test and he is asymptomatic. In his words “I’m generally ok“.
I took my third Covid-19 test yesterday and it came back positive. I’m generally ok and I’m already self isolating at home and receiving the best of care from my medical team. I’m delegating critical tasks to my Deputy but will continue routine duty from home. JKF

Fayemi says he has delegated critical tasks of governance to his Deputy but will continue to perform routine duty from home.
