The Federal Government has acquired 3 new aircraft for the Nigeria College of Aviation Technology, NCAT Zaria in Kaduna State for training purposes.
On his Twitter handle, Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, said with the new aircraft, the training will cost less for the Federal Government as there was no better aviation safety than having well trained, proficient aviators

NCAT was designed to be a training centre for Nigerian and African pilots, aircraft maintenance engineers and navigation aid technicians.
It is established to create a flying school, air traffic services and communications school and aeronautical electronics and telecommunications school to meet its objectives.
The centre started offering specialised training courses in instrument landing systems, jet simulation, airline transport and VHF omnidirectional range about 43 years ago.
