President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of members of the governing board of the Nigerian Maritime and Administrative and Safety Agency, NIMASA and that of the Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Transportation, Sadiu Zakari this Tuesday.
The 8-member governing board of NIMASA include Honourable Asita as Chairman; Bashir Jamoh, Director-General; Victor Ochei, Executive Director, Cabotage; and Chidi Offordile, Executive Director, Administration and Finance.

Others are Shehu Adamu as Executive Director, Operations; Adekola Adefemi, Muhammed Abubakar and Hassan Mahmud as members.
Eight persons will also constitute the governing board of the NPA with Akin Ricketts as Chairman, excluding Hadiza Bala Usman who remains the Managing Director of the Authority.
Members of both boards are expected to be inaugurated in due course by the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi.
