The Nigerian government says it will investigate the viral video of some Nigerican traders in Accra, Ghana, who were seen lamenting the alleged seal up of their shops and business premises by Ghanian officials.
Nigeria’s Minister of foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Oyeama in tweet on his verified handle, says he has, “watched with dismay , the painful videos of the forceful closure of the shops of Nigerian traders in Ghana and Urgent steps will be taken”.

The video surfaced a few days ago, and is coming a few weeks after no less than two hundred shops of Nigerian traders put under lock and key by the authorities in Ghana for alleged contravention of a local law which bars non-nationals from engaging in retail trade, were re-opened following diplomatic moves between Abuja and Accra.
